General instructions KD08
1. The car seat is for car use only.
2. The car seat is developed for an intensive use of approximately 10
years.
3. We advise to check the expanded polystyrene (EPS) parts regularly
for damages.
WARNING:
Do not use the seat in the forward facing position with children under
100cm in height.
Keep the child restraint system away from corrosive
liquids, paints or solvents that could damage the product.
KD08 in the car
1.The child restraint system should be re- placed after an accident,
even if there are no visible signs of damage. the product may have
unseen nternal damage that could compromise the child's safety.
2.Take regular breaks when traveling so the child can get out of the
seat and walk about a bit. it is not advisable to travel for
more than 2 hours at a time withouttaking a break. this advise is very
important for babies.
3.The straps should never be twisted.The harness buckle must be
fastened correctly and the straps should fit the child snugly.
4.Rotate to side loading position to recline seat. the fabric cover is an
essential part of the child restraint system. it must not be replaced by a
different cover without prior authorization from the manufacturer.
5. Do not alter the product by adding or removing any accessory
or complement.
6. Do not leave unsecured luggage or ob- jects on the parcel shelf
in the vehicle,because in the event of an accident they
could cause serious injury to the occupants.
7.Cover the seat if it is left in direct sunlight. plastic and metal
surfaces get very hot and could burn. the car seat cover is also
likely to fade.
8.The child restraint must not be used without the cover.
9.Do not allowed that children are not left in their child restraint system
unattended.
Maintenance instructions
The EPS parts of the headrest and backrest may not be removed.
WARNING:
The instructions should be retained for future use.
The user shall also be referrde to the vehicle manufacturer's handbook.
