1. Set the fuel valve lever (A) to ON position.(Fig. 27)
2. Set the choke lever to the correct position.
a) If the engine is cold, close the choke (B).(Fig. 28)
b) If the engine is warm, open the choke(B). (Fig. 29)
3. Apply approximately 1/3 throttle (C).(Fig. 30)
4. Pull the starter grip(E) slowly until you feel resistance.
(Fig. 31)
5. Pull the starter grip quickly and with force until th
engine starts.
6. Move the starter rope back slowly into its initial
position to prevent damage to the product.
7. If the engine is cold, move the choke gradually as the
engine becomes warm.
To set the engine speed and pump output
1. When the throttle handle (A) is at the turtle position,
the engine is at idle speed and the pump output is
low.(Fig. 31)
2. Move the throttle handle towards the rabbit
position to increase the engine speed and pump

Do a check of the engine oil level.
Replace the engine oil.
Clean the air filter, replace it if it is necessary.

Clean the external part of the spark plug.
Remove it and check the electrode gap.
Adjust the distance to 0.7±0.08mm.
Replace the spark plug
Clean the sediment cup
Do a check and adjust the engine speed.
Do a check and adjust the valve clearance.
Clean the combustion chamber.
Clean the fuel tank and fuel filter.
Do a check of the fuel tube.
Do a check of the impeller and impeller
clearance.
Do a check of the pump inlet valve.

3. When the throttle handle is at the rabbit position,
then engine is at full speed and the pump output is
high.(Fig. 32)
Note:
The pump output is related to the engine speed
and is adjusted by the throttle handle.
