5.1.3 Removing the depth gauge
CAUTION
Risk of injury The depth gauge may hinder the operator if fitted but not used.
▶ Remove the depth gauge from the tool.
1. Remove the protective sleeve. → page 9
2. Pull the depth gauge forward, away from the power tool.
5.1.4 Removing the protective sleeve
1. Insert the tip of a screwdriver between the protective sleeve and the
power tool.
2. Release the protective sleeve by levering with the screwdriver.
3. Pull the protective sleeve off toward the front of the tool.
5.1.5 Changing the bit
CAUTION
Risk of injury by the accessory tool! The accessory tool might be hot or
have sharp edges.
▶ Wear protective gloves when changing the accessory tool.
1. Remove the depth gauge. → page 9
2. Pull the sleeve back and hold it securely.
3. Change the bit.
4. Release the sleeve and allow it to slide forward.

5.1.6 Adjusting the depth gauge
5.1.6.1 Screw sealing washer compressed too much
If the screw sealing washer is compressed too much, turn the depth gauge
to the right.
5.1.6.2 Screw sealing washer is not compressed enough
If the screw sealing washer is not compressed enough, turn the depth gauge
to the left.
