Fold the safety
seal tab on the
new dust bag
away from the
opening that
fits on the dust
tube.

[Jnfoid the new dust bag.
Seal Tab
In Canada,
Insert the dust
bag onto the
dirt tube com-
pletely by hold-
ing the bag col-
tar and pushing
it onto the dirt
tube.
Position the
dust cover
so its posi-
tioning tabs
fit into the
body posi-
tioning slotsr
Tabs
Close the dust
cover.
You will hear a
distinct snap
when dust
cover is secure-
ly closed.

Check the motor filter occasionally and
replace when dirty.

Do not operate the cleaner without
the motor safety filter. Be sure the
filter is properly installed to prevent
motor failure and/or electrical

Remove the dust bag as outlined in the
DUST BAG CHANGING section
This white and grey filter must be replaced
when dirty It should be replaced regularly
depending on use conditions. The filter
CANNOT be washed as it will lose its
dust trapping ability.

Safety
If the filter, located in the bottom of the dust
bag cavity, is dirty, remove by pulling for-
ward out from under the ribs,
Replace the filter, white side up, by sliding
it back into place under the ribs in the dust
bag cavity.
Replace the dust bag as outlined in the
DUST BAG CHANGING section°
