9. TROUBLESHOOTING

9.1 RED ERROR LED

1. Luma-Net error.

A. Check wiring, may indicate a break in the Luma-Net
B. Check terminations, Luma-Net
C. Check device addressing and confirm all devices have a unique address.
2. LumaCAN
error.

A. Check wiring, may indicate wiring issues.
B. Check port configuration and confirm port is configured correctly.
C. Confirm cable is good; if a bad cable is the cause of the error it may take a few minutes of good
traffic to clear the error after the cable has been replaced.

9.2 DISPLAY MESSAGE "START FAIL"

1. The Gateway could not read the startup configuration script from the SD card.
A. Confirm the SD card is completely pushed in.
B. Confirm the SD card has not be replaced with a blank SD card.
C. If no action is taken the error will result in a reboot after 10 minutes.

9.3 DISPLAY MESSAGE "NO CONFIG"

1. The Gateway has not been configured or the configuration file is corrupt.
A. If the Gateway was recently reset to factory default this is a normal message, follow the
configuration instructions in Section 3.
B. Configuration file may have been deleted or moved, follow the Retrieve Gateway configuration
instructions in Section 4 to validate configuration file.

9.4. STATIC DISPLAY MESSAGE "INTERACTIVE"

1. The bootloader cannot find an image to load from the SD card.
A. If the reset button has been pressed the bootloader will force update from the SD card, if the SD
card does not exist this error will occur. Validate SD card is present and properly installed and press
the reset button.
2. SDRAM test failed during power up indicating a possible hardware failure.
A. If SC card has been validated contact Technical Support for device replacement if device is under
warranty.
