• Keep these instructions in a safe
place and pass them on when gi-
ving the device to a third person.
• This unit is suitable for indoor use

• The device must be protected
from dampness, extreme cold and

• Do not use this device in the vici-
nity of explosive gases, vapours

the device is not used in the near
vicinity of inflammable materials.
• Do not remove any stickers from
this device. The sticker may con-

or the power cord is damaged. Dis-
connect the device immediately
from the mains by pulling the plug
from the socket. In order to avoid
a hazard or electrocution, the de-
vice should be repaired by our ser-
vice centre or a similarly qualified

the device by the preinstalled
mounting ring so that the de-
vice is out of reach. Never use

in Germany for environmen-
tal protection reasons since
useful insects could be killed!

5. G etting started
Find a suitable location and insert the plug into a mains so-
cket. The Insect Killer is ready for use. You can set the Insect
Killer on a table or ledge, hang it up or fix it to the wall. Please
note that the Insect Killer and the power cord should always
be placed out of the reach of children.
• When setting up the device, use the cable lugs on the de-
vice to secure the cables.
• When hanging the unit, use the built hook at the top of the
device. Never hang the device by the power cord. Make sure
that the power is laid safely so that the Insect Killer cannot
be accidentally pulled down. Hang the device at a height of
1,5 m - 3 m.
• If the unit is to be hung on the wall, use the wall hanger on
the back of the unit.
