What to do before storage
1. Open the fuel tank, remove the filter, remove the entire contents of the fuel tank and close the tank
again.
2. Turn on the equipment for a few minutes until the fuel is completely consumed.
3. Set the fuel passage position to OFF.
4. Remove the spark plug and pour a tablespoon of engine oil into the
cylinder.
5. Pull the manual starter gently to distribute the oil evenly. Pull gently
until resistance is felt and continue pulling until it is overcome. Once
past this point, both the intake and exhaust valves of the engine will
be closed and we prevent rust from building up on the engine block.
DANGER: Petrol is highly flammable and explosive. Perform these steps in a well-ventilated area and
with the generator turned off. It is forbidden to smoke, or to be near any incandescent element, sparks or
flames.
9. TROUBLESHOOTING
Failure to start the engine. The generator cannot be started.
- Check if the oil level is low.
- Check the amount of fuel in the fuel tank.
- Remove the spark plug and check for spark.
- If after all these steps you cannot start the generator, contact your supplier.
The generator is not producing power.
- If the problem persists after checking these points, contact your supplier.
