REPLACING THE RUBBER PADDLE
WARNING:
off the bail switch and remove the
battery pack(s) before performing any
maintenance task on your snow blower.
NOTICE:
When replacing worn rubber
paddles, pay close attention to the order
in which you remove them. Assemble the
new rubber paddles in the reverse order
of the disassembly.
1. Use two wrenches (not included) to
remove the 8 sets of nuts and bolts
fixed on the middle steel plates and
the 4 sets of nuts, washers and bolts
on each side (total of 8 sets), that are
used to secure the rubber paddles
(Fig. 26 & 27).
2. Remove the paddles.
3. Install the new rubber paddles in the
reverse order of the disassembly.
Secure them by tightening the 4
sets of nuts, washers and bolts on
each side (total of 8 sets) and the 8
sets of nuts and bolts in the middle.
REPLACING THE DRIVE BELT
If the drive belt becomes worn, oil-soaked, excessively cracked, frayed, or otherwise
damaged, replace the belt.

1. Use a Torx screwdriver (not included) to remove the drive belt cover by removing
the 8 Torx screws as shown in Fig. 28.
