Charging the battery
1. Place the receiver in the transmitter charging bay. Ensure that the receiver contacts are
touching the contact blades of the transmitter.
2. The charging process will start automatically. The indicator LED on the receiver will
flash green during the charging process.
3. After the charging process is completed, the indicator LED on the receiver will be
constantly lit in green.
Alternatively, the receiver can be charged directly using the transmitter power supply or a
mobile phone charger with micro USB connection. Use the charging jack on the side of the
receiver to do so. It is also possible to charge it during operation using a power bank. This
can extend the run time of the receiver.
Bluetooth functions
Transmitter Bluetooth functions:
The transmitter is used for audio transmission from any audio source (e.g. hearing aids). It
can be paired with any Bluetooth receiver device. To pair the transmitter, set it to pair mode
(plug transmitter into a power supply or briefly press the Pair button and seek/pair the
transmitter with the desired receiving device (follow the operating manual for the receiving
device if necessary).
Please note: Only one receiving device can be paired at a time. It is not possible to operate
the transmitter with multiple receivers at the same time.
The transmitter can save a maximum of 4 different receivers.
The transmitter always pairs first to the last paired receiver within its range.
Receiver Bluetooth functions:
The receiver is used to play audio signals emitted by Bluetooth transmitters. It is possible
to have the receiver paired with an Tiviton-BT transmitter while being connected to a cell
phone at the same time. This allows you to receive incoming calls with the receiver. This
only functions with a Bluetooth-supporting cell phone. The receiver can save a maximum
of 4 devices.
Pair Tiviton-BT receiver with other Bluetooth transmitters
The Tiviton-BT receiver can be paired with various Bluetooth transmitters, such as with a
smartphone in order to listen to music and make phone calls.
1. Press the receiver for 2 seconds to activate it.
2. Press the telephone button on the receiver until the blue LED on the receiver starts to
flash. The receiver is now ready to pair with a cell phone.
3. Pair the receiver and the cell phone. See the handbook for your cell phone for
instructions.
