Touching the central key with a finger allows
the user to scroll through the screens which display:
- Current charge current
- Battery voltage
- Ampere-hour (Ah)
stored by the battery since
the start of the current charge
- Estimated charge percentage
Some Polar Q Series charger models turn off the display backlight
after 10 minutes of inactivity of the touch keys. To reactivate the
backlighting, simply touch the central button. During charging, the
charger will automatically proceed to charge the battery according to
the set charging curve.
If you want to stop charging before its normal end, you must put
the charger in STOP state before disconnecting
the battery so as not to damage the electrical
contacts of the connector.

To put the charger in STOP state,
hold down the button for 3 seconds.
The word "STOP" will appear on the display
so that you can safely disconnect the battery
from the charger.
When the charging ends, the display will signal that
a 100% charge has been reached. After that, the
display will show the different indications depending
on the end-of-charge setting selected
(Equalize or Floating).
Once the charger enters the Equalize or Floating
phase, the battery is considered charged and
can be disconnected.
End of charging Equalize: The display will show Equ Run indicating
that the charger enters the equalization phase.
Once the equalization phase is complete, the display will show
the word Equ End.
