Assembly/Disassembly

Under normal circumstances, there is no need to
disassemble. However, the G6 Turbo can be disas-
sembled in order to fit into a small truck or be used on a
floor mount.
To disassemble, follow this procedure:
1. Lay unit down horizontally (should rest on handle).
2. Pull the cotter pin on the puller mounting pins.
Remove mounting pins.
3. Slide puller assembly toward the dolly base far
enough to clear mounting plates.
4. With the assistance of another person, angle the
end closest to the nose away from the boom and
remove the puller.
Note: For a floor mount pull, only the puller needs to be
removed; the nose and upper boom weldment can stay.

5. Pull ball knob of the nose swivel quick pin, twist
nose 45°, and slide nose off the upper boom
weldment.
6. Pull and twist the boom quick pin to disengage
plunger from boom.
7. Remove upper boom weldment from the boom-
dolly weldment.
The boom cannot be disassembled further. Assemble in
the reverse order.
