Crossbar carrier
Dear customer, the crossbar carrier, Order Number 5L0 071 151, is inten-
ded for vehicles ŠKODA Yeti (5L). Read carefully these Instructions before
mounting the crossbar carrier. If you fail to follow these Fitting Instructions
and safety instructions, you jeopardize your safety and safety of other par-
ticipatns of road traffic. In case of any doubts please contact ŠKODA AUTO
dealer.
Area of application
The crossbar carrier is designed for transport of loads, including bulk objects
(e.g. boxes for skis, bicycles, etc.).
Safety instructions!
Max. loading capacity of vehicle roof
The maximum loading capacity of the vehicle roof including the weight of the
carriers (or additional attachment pieces) depends on the data shown in the
Technical Certificate of the vehicle and is max. 100 kg.
Because of safety reasons, the maximum loading capacity of the roof must not
be exceeded!
Considering fuel consumption, air resistance reduction, traffic safety and acous-
tic exposures, we do not recommend to use the rack in an unloaded state.

Sensitivity to side wind
The driving and braking qualities of the car and its sensitivity to side wind
remain unchanged. The way of driving has to be adjusted accordingly. Make
sure you drive carefully with a load on the roof, do not exceed maxim. speed
of 120 km/h.
Loading - equal distribution and width of the load
Make sure the load on the crossbar carrier is distributed uniformly. Avoid
one-sided loading loading of vehicle roof. Do not exceed the maximum width
of the crossbar carrier.
