2. DESCRIPTION
THE ART 7 MK5 SERIES
Art 7 MK5 Series two-way speakers are equipped with new generation amplifiers providing very high output, extremely low distortion and an
incredible natural sound.
Each amplifier features both XLR and Jack balanced inputs, XLR output link, volume and a switchable EQ Mode (Flat/XBoost), additional MIC/
Line input switch.
XBoost increases the depth and richness of ART 7 MK5 low frequencies simply enabling the function from the speaker rear panel. Based on the
latest RCF research works, XBoost produces the perception of much deeper bass preserving maximum clarity and keeping the woofer excursion
under control. This results in an enhanced sound performance at all volumes, optimal for background music or to enrich your mix, especially when
the speaker is used full-range and without a subwoofer.
The amplifier features a solid mechanical aluminium structure which not only stabilizes the amplifier during transportation but also assists heat
dissipation.
Art 7 MK5 Series amplifiers provide PFC power supply section in order to produce maximum output even in case of tension drops from main supply.
The design looks aggressive whilst retaining familiar Art ergonomics and is the result of extensive combined functional and acoustic research.
Art 7 MK5 Series two-way system cabinets are molded in a special polypropylene composite material and are designed to dampen down vibrations
even at maximum volume settings. All models are equipped with handles with rubber handgrip for greater portability; on the bottom side a rugged
steel pole mount seat has been installed in all models.
The cabinet shape allows every ART 7 MK5 Series model to be used in the standard configuration as well as in stage monitor mode.
