15.2. Chain and bar disassembly
• Disconnect the battery from the chainsaw.
• Use the Allen wrench supplied to unscrew the two locking nuts ① and remove the cover ②.
• Unscrew anti-clockwise the chain tension adjusting screw ③ to loosen the tension.
• Remove the chain and bar.
15.3. Chain and bar assembly
• Disconnect the battery from the chainsaw.
• Adjust the tension adjustment screw ③, place the bar on the chainsaw body ④ and insert the guide
plate fixing column ⑤ into the fixing hole on the bar.
• Insert the chain onto the pinion and into the bar groove.
• Assemble the pinion cover and tighten the two locking nuts ①.
15.4. Chain tension
While using the chainsaw, the chain overheats and could stretch. If necessary, adjust the chain tension as
indicated below.
• Disconnect the battery from the chainsaw.
• Use the hex wrench supplied to slightly loosen the two locking nuts ①.
