4.4. Gas & Electric Installation
12 V DC Electrical Installation
A voltage drop of 0.8V from the power supply to each individual piece of equipment shall not be exceeded. For
more detailed guidelines see BS EN 1648.

Please note: A 5A fuse must be fitted in the 12V d.c. supply.
Do not install the heater directly below a socket.

WARNING: Always disconnect the applicance from the power supply prior to working on electrical compo-
nents. The Water comes complete with electrical connections fitted.
Gas connection
Please Note: Ventilation must comply with relevant local requirements, e.g. EN 721. Gas Valve and connec-
tions are to be supplied by the fitter. Adequate gas drop out vents must be installed in the vicinity of the gas
connection.
The appliance must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions and must comply with any
relevant regulations in the country where the appliance is installed.
Check the gas pipe of the Water Heater and the main gas supply pipe to ensure it is clear from dirt or other
particles. Fit the gas supply to the compression fitting on the Water Heater. The supply pipe must be posi-
tioned to ensure the Water Heater can be removed for servicing.
Gas shut- off valve must be located as close as possible to the Water Heater inside the vehicle and all con-
nections must be kept to a minimum.
WARNING: The operating pressure for the gas supply must be either 28-30mBar Butane or Propane.
