Filter CartridgeReplacement
You should change your filter when the water flow is noticeably reduced or at least every three months.
rT] Turn offwater to filter. _&rater must be shut off
flom an upstream valve.
r-_ Slowly turn on water to the filter by using the
upstream shut-off valve.
r_ Press the red pressure release button to release
pressure.
[-_] Press the red pressure release button to
remove trapped air.
[j] Unscrew the filter canister and discard used
filteL Wash the filter canister with mild soap
and wateL Do not use harsh cleaners or hot
wateL
r-_] Inspect the filter canister O-ring. Make sure
it is lightly lubricated and completely seated
in the groove. It is recommended that you
replace the O-ring if it is damaged.
[_ lace a new filter cartridge into the canister,
making sure it is centered and completely
seated on the bottom seal.
r_] Reinstall the filter canister to the unit. Hand
tightening is all that is required to seal the
unit. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
AtYer installation, flush the cartridge for
10 minutes, wait one hour, then flush again
for l0 minutes before using the wateL
