Proper Handling and Usage for Jacquard
Tag
Operating Temperatures
If the interior temperature of the Jacquard Tag exceeds or falls below
normal operating temperatures, you may experience the following beha-
viors while the device tries to regulate its temperature: reduced battery
performance and connectivity, inability to charge, lack of LED and vib-
ration notification (for J acquard compatible devices that support these
functions) or device power down. You may not be able to use the device
while it regulates its temperature. Move the device to a cooler (or war-
mer) location and wait a few minutes before attempting to use it again.
Connectors and Ports
When disconnecting the power adapter from a power outlet, pull on the
adapter, never on the cable. Do not twist or pinch the USB cable and do
not force a connector into a port.
Power Supply
Install your power supply near a wall socket that is easily accessible.
Power supply is not included with the Jacquard Tag.
Water Resistance
The Jacquard Tag is resistant to rain and splashing and can be used
outdoors, but it is not fully waterproof. Do not submerge the Jacquard
Tag and do not use the Jacquard Tag inside a very wet shoe. Allow the
Jacquard Tag, insole, or other Jacquard compatible device to dry and
resume using. Do not wash the Jacquard Tag as doing so may damage
the Tag. The J acquard Tag has a water protection rating of IP54 under
IEC 60529. If your J acquard Tag is damaged, water resistance may be
compromised.
Storage
Fully charge the Jacquard Tag and store disconnected from the insole
or other Jacquard compatible device and your phone when not in use
to maximize battery life.
Service, Repair & Support
Contact customer service and do not use the Jacquard Tag if it is not
working properly or has been damaged.
Unauthorized repairs or modifications could result in permanent damage
to your Jacquard tag or the insole and may affect your warranty coverage
and regulatory authorizations. Contact customer service for authorized
service.
