BLADE REMOVAL, SHARPENING AND REINSTALLATION
HOW TO REMOVE THE BLADE
ATTENTION! Always wear safety gloves when working with blades. This machine has two reversible blades.
When one edge wears out, you can rotate the blades to use the second edge. When both edges are worn,
you should replace the blades. If you notice an increase in vibration that may be due to wear on the cutting
edges, you will also notice that the material you cut becomes frayed when the blades are dull or worn.
ANVIL REPLACEMENT
The anvil is also reversible. When the edge of the anvil is worn, you can rotate it. The space between the
blade and the anvil should always be 1 mm.
SHARP
Never attempt to sharpen the chipping blade.
It is crucial to constantly maintain the 45 degree angle for proper performance.
Take the chipping blade to a machine shop for proper sharpening.
The heat generated during the sharpening process will damage the blades and weaken the metal.
