The seaHedburners are secured to the cooktop and are not
designed to be removed. Since the burners are seaHedinto

head portion of the burner is easiHyremoved for cHeaning.

the right front position. This burner offers higher speed
cooking that can be used to quickHy bring water to a boiHand
for Harge-quantity cooking.
Simmer
Burners

These burners are Hocatedin the center positions, The
simmer burners offer a HowerBTU flame for deHicatesauces
or meriting chocoHate.
BTU ratings will vary when using LP gas.
Burner Grates
The grates must be properHypositioned before cooking.
Improper instaHHation of the grates may resuHtin chipping of
the cooktop.
Do not operate the burners without
a pan on the grate.
The grate's porcelain
finish may chip without
a pan to
absorb the heat from the burner flame.
AHthough the burner grates are durabHe,they wiHH graduaHHy
Hosetheir shine and/or discoHor,due to the high temperatures
of the gas flame.

within a few seconds. If using naturaH gas, the flame wiHH

If the burner flame is yeHHow or is noisy, the air!gas
mixture may be incorrect. Contact a service technician

With LP gas, some yeHHow tips on the flames are accept-

° With some types of gas, you may hear a "popping"
sound when the surface burner is turned off. This is a
normaHoperating sound of the burner.
° To improve cooking efficiency and to prevent possibHe
damage to the cooktop or pan, the flame must be
adjusted so it does not extend beyond the edge of the
pan.
