1. INTRODUCTION
It is a fully dedicated equipment that receives the heartbeat status of all the Optimax2 remote devices (stations) and summarizes it
to inform the Control Centre devices about the status of the installation. This dedicated device releases the Control Centre paging
stations and makes their response time and task more effective.
In addition, the CC-200ETH8 is the one that keeps the socket connections between Control Centre devices and the remote devices
(Station). This socket is kept alive to generate a proper response time of the system.
Main characteristics:
•
Dual Ethernet connection for installations with redundant
network systems. The connection is constantly monitored
and switches automatically if necessary.
•
IP address, gateway and netmask stored in flash memory.
•
Front LEDs for ALARM, ACTIVE, GLOBAL CONTROLLER,
LOCAL CONTROLLER and POWER, and rear LEDs for LINK
and ACTIVITY for ETH A and ETH B connections.
•
USB connection for system monitoring.
2. FRONT VIEW
(1) ALARM indicator
Yellow LED indicator of alarm in the system.
(2) ACTIVE indicator.
Blue LED. Indicates that the unit is working as a
coordinator of the TCP/IP connections of the installation.
(3) GLOBAL CONTROLLER indicator
Blue LED. When blinking, it indicates that the unit is
running the GLOBAL CONTROLLER process.
(4) LOCAL CONTROLLER indicator
Blue LED. When blinking, indicates that the LOCAL
CONTROLLER process is running in the unit.

(5) POWER indicator.
Green LED. Illuminates when the equipment is operating
on both 100/240 VAC mains power and 24 VDC input
power.
(6) ON/OFF switch.
Switches the equipment ON and OFF only if it is powered
by the 100/240 VAC mains input. If it is powered by the
24 VDC input, this switch does not operate.
