Note: •
The disc brake is on the left side of the
bike, in the direction of travel.
•
Ensure that the front wheel axle is fully
inserted into the slot of the front fork.
2. Check that the disc brake fits into the brake caliper.
3. Prepare the quick release (front wheel axle) by
unscrewing the nut and one of the springs.
4. Carefully insert the quick release into the front
wheel's hub, then insert the spring in the correct
orientation (pictured below), and loosely screw on
the nut.
5. With one hand, hold the quick-release lever partially
closed, while gradually tightening the nut with the
other hand until you feel slight resistance from the
quick release lever.
English (Original Instructions)
6. Firmly push down the quick release lever to lock it in
place.
ENSURE THE NUT AND QUICK RELEASE LEVER
ARE FULLY TIGHTENED. THE RECOMMENDED
CLOSING FORCE ON THE QUICK-RELEASE
LEVER, APPLIED TANGENTIALLY TO THE LEVER,
IS 130 N (NEWTON).
THE QUICK-RELEASE LEVER MUST SIT
ALONGSIDE THE FORK BLADE. THIS MINIMIZES
THE CHANCES OF IT GETTING RELEASED
ACCIDENTALLY.
