Remove oil, grease or mud from
hand rails, steps, pedals, controls,
and floor to avoid slippage or mi-
scontroling.
In winter, scrape away ice and snow
on the above component.
Check bolts for looseness lubri-
cants for lack, tires for damage and
under-inflation, safety shields and
devices for malfunction, steering
and braking linkages for slackness,
and hydraulic fluid for leakage. Re-
fer to the applicable sections in this
manual for more details.
cAutIon
Perform inspection and maintenan-
ce on the machine, in particular its
electrical wiring, once per year.
Replace the fuel pipe every two
years.

If you operate the engine in a clo-
sed area, be sure there is plenty of
ventilation before starting the engi-
ne. Exhaust fumes are poisonous.
Be extremely careful of carbon
monoxide which is odorless and
