1. Before using the machine
Always check the following points
before turning the machine on:
(1) check the working area
• If you find a hindrance whilst us-
ing the machine, locate it and have
it removed.
(2) Inspecting the machine
• Check that components are not
deformed, damaged or dangerous.
• Check transmission oil.
• Be sure to adjust the tension of the
crawlers and check the crawlers for
cracks.
• Check that mounting bolts of the
crawlers are well tightened.
• Check the machine in its whole
and make sure there are no damaged
parts or loose bolts.
• Make sure there are no engine oil
leaks.
• Check fuel level and make sure
there are no leaks and that the fuel
pipe is not damaged.
• Make sure air filter is clean.
• Check that engine muffler and
other heated parts are free of debris
and dirt.
• Check the electrical system and
make sure contacts are well fixed.
(3) using the levers
• Check levers
(4) Starting the engine
• Make sure the engine doesn't
make strange noises.
• Check the colour of the exhaust
smoke
• Check that each lever works
properly.
2. check fuel level and refuel
• Refer to engine's "Use and Main-
tenance" handbook
3. Switching on the engine

• For safety reasons, check the
area around the machine before
switching the engine on. do not
switch on if there are animals or
persons close by.
cAutIon
• Make sure you have carried out
the requested maintenance opera-
tions before and after having used
the machine. check clutch lever
and other devices used during
operation and adjust them if nec-
essary so as to ensure its proper
operation.
• Whilst machine is hot, release
the clutch lever so that parking
brake gets engaged.
