SAFETY DURING DESCENT:
Constant attention during descent: when lowering the ladder, pay attention to the
following to prevent injuries to your hands or ngers:
• Never place your hands between the steps. Place your hands on the side rails (underneath
the step you intend to slide down). Please carefully read the safety instructions in this
manual. (See example 13).
IN GENERAL: Maximum weight capacity: 150 kg. Intended for use by a single person only.
BEFORE USE:
• Proper Maintenance: Maintain the telescopic ladder in accordance with the provided
instructions.
• Stay Alert: Remain alert and focused when using the telescopic ladder. Never use it under
the in uence of alcohol, medication, or any substances that may impair your reaction time.
• Transportation: When transporting the telescopic ladder, ensure it is fully folded and
securely supported and xed in place.
• Pre-Use Inspection: Upon delivery and before each use, inspect all parts of the telescopic
ladder for condition and functionality. A telescopic ladder should be completely collapsible.
Con rm that all parts, including the feet and covers, are present.
• Defect Check: Before each use, thoroughly examine the telescopic ladder for any defects,
such as deformation or wear.
• Suitability Check: Prior to use, verify that the telescopic ladder is suitable for the intended
task.
• Intended Purpose: Use the telescopic ladder only for its designated purpose.
• Avoid Damaged Ladders: Never use a damaged or broken telescopic ladder. Temporary
repairs are not permitted. Any damage should be promptly repaired by a professional in this
eld before the ladder's next use.
• Cleanliness: Whenever possible, ensure that the telescopic ladder is free from contamina-
tion by substances such as wet paint, mud, snow, and oil.
• Risk Analysis: Before use, conduct a risk analysis if required by local or national legislation
and regulations.
• Correct Orientation: Never use the telescopic ladder in a backward or upside-down
manner (See example 1).
• Disposal of Unusable Ladders: Discard telescopic ladders that are broken, excessively
worn, or irreparable.
• Professional Inspection: Telescopic ladders intended for professional use must undergo
periodic inspections by an expert.
POSITIONING AND SETTING UP A TELESCOPIC LADDER:
• When positioning a telescopic ladder in the ladder position, ensure that the distance from
the foot of the ladder to the wall is approximately one-quarter of the ladder's operational
length. This will result in a set-up angle of around 75° (see example 2).
• Always place the telescopic ladder on a stable, horizontal surface that is not slippery. This
will prevent the ladder's feet from sinking into the ground or slipping.
• Avoid placing the telescopic ladder on unstable surfaces such as tables, boxes, crates,

muddy soil, or loose sand.
• When positioning the ladder in the ladder position, make sure that all four points of
contact are on a solid, level surface. Never lean the ladder against windows, circular or
narrow pillars, or corners unless suitable accessories are used for that purpose.
• Con rm that the telescopic ladder is stable and, if necessary, secure it to prevent any
wobbling.
• Never reposition a telescopic ladder while someone is standing on a platform or step or
from a position higher than the ladder itself.
• Exercise caution when positioning the ladder in front of door openings, windows, or in
corridors. Ensure that no one can walk into or under the telescopic ladder.
• Danger! Electrical conductivity of metal: Never let the ladder or any of its parts
come into contact with exposed electrical wires.
• Keep an aluminum telescopic ladder at least 2.5 meters away from uninsulated electrical
components or low-voltage installations and live networks.
• Avoid placing an aluminum telescopic ladder near high-voltage installations.
• Use caution with electrical equipment as aluminum telescopic ladders can conduct electric
current.
• Always ensure that power cables cannot become trapped or caught when climbing,
sliding, or repositioning the telescopic ladder. Check beforehand that the electrical cable or
your tools are not damaged.
• Position telescopic ladders on their feet, not on the steps.
• Place the telescopic ladder as close as possible to the work area.
• Do not operate the unlocking sliders or unlocking/locking buttons when someone is
standing on the telescopic ladder (see example 3).
• Keep the sliders clean to ensure they move easily.
• Before climbing the telescopic ladder, ensure that all rungs are securely locked by
performing the following checks:
1. Con rm that all safety indicators are at least 85% green-colored (See example 4 and 5).
2. Verify that all unlocking buttons/locking buttons are protruding (See example 6).
3. Check for visible closed locks on the lowest rung (See example 7).
4. Listen for the audible click-sound.
5. Press each rung downward to con rm its stability (See example 8).
PULLING DOWN AND EXTENDING A TELESCOPIC LADDER:
Important! Follow these instructions closely when collapsing and extending a telescopic
ladder to prevent ngers from getting caught between the steps and the uneven spaces.
Extending a telescopic ladder to its full height, option 1:
1. Place the telescopic ladder upright on a clean and stable surface.
2. To keep the ladder in position while extending, place one foot on the lowest rung.
3. Begin extending the telescopic ladder from the highest rung, ensuring it locks itself in
place. This locking only occurs if the rung below is also moving upward during extension.
Listen carefully for the distinct click sound. The rung is considered locked when the locking
switches (located on the left and right beneath the rung) are fully protruded (See example 6).
4. Repeat this process for each subsequent rung until the telescopic ladder is fully extended.
