Replacing the dust bag
If the bag status indicator turns on, check
and, if necessary, replace the dust bag.
Press on the release pedal and lift the lid of
the dust bag compartment.
Remove the dust bag; discard it or empty it
if it is a reusable bag. The dust bag should
be disposed of conscientiously and with
care.
Substitute with a new bag.
Close the lid and the dust bag lid.
Note: The bag status indicator can also flash
if there is a blockage. In this case, check for
the cause of the blockage.
FILTERS
The motor protection filter (placed next
to the bag) should be removed and rinsed
with water twice per year or whenever
visibly clogged. If the filter is damaged, it
should be replaced with a new filter.
If the filter is worn, it must be cleaned in
a timely manner. To do so, remove the
grille and shake the filter to remove the
accumulated debris.
Afterwards, return the filter and grille to
their original position.
To maintain the good performance of your
vacuum, the motor protection filter and
exhaust filter (HEPA) should be washed
after the bag has been replaced 5 times.
Hand wash the filters in warm water and
allow them to dry completely before
returning them to the vacuum.
Note: Do not use hot water or detergents. If
the filters should become damaged, replace
them.
Do not attempt to use the vacuum without
its respective bag and filters being installed.
