1 Specified Conditions of Use
These vacuum cleaners are suitable for vacuuming
concrete and stone dust, ordinary dust, solid
materials (broken glass, nails etc.), and liquids of
any kind with the exception of highly inflammable,
combustible liquids and material that is hotter than
60 °C.
This tool is not designed for use by persons
(including children) with physical, sensory or
mental disabilities, or with insufficient experience
and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety, or have
received instructions on how to use the tool by this
person.
This product is designed for industrial use.
The user bears sole responsibility for any damage
caused by inappropriate use.
Generally accepted accident prevention
regulations and the enclosed safety information
must be observed.
2 General Safety Information
For your own protection and for the
protection of your vacuum cleaner pay
attention to all parts of the text that are
marked with this symbol!
WARNING Read all safety warnings and
all instructions. Failure to follow the warn-
ings and instructions may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings
and instructions for future reference!
1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or
dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate vacuum cleaners in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of flam-
mable liquids, gases or dust. Vacuum cleaners
create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while oper-
ating a vacuum cleaner. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Vacuum cleaners plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any
adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) vacuum
cleaners. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets
will reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded
surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Protect the vacuum cleaner from rain or damp
conditions. Do not immerse the cleaner or spray it
with a jet of water. Improper use can lead to elec-
trical shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for
carrying, pulling or unplugging the vacuum
cleaner. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled
cords increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a vacuum cleaner outdoors, use
an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of
