4.2 Pairing the SIME LINKER PLUS device to
the SIME CONNECT APP
4.2.1 Installing the application
(this step requires the use of a smartphone and a Wi-Fi
network connection)
To optimally use all the functions of the SIME LINKER PLUS re-
mote control unit, it is necessary to install the "SIME CONNECT"
application on your smartphone. This application, by connect-
ing via Wi-Fi to the remote control unit, can be used to control
the heating, air conditioning and domestic hot water sources
and provides information on the relative consumption values.
Perform the following operations to install the application:
– choose a name for the network (SSID) and a password for
the Wi-Fi network to which the remote control unit must be
connected
– check whether there is a Wi-Fi signal in the exact point where
the remote control unit must be installed
– download the available application for Android and iOS oper-
ating systems
– subsequently, follow the instructions in the application to
create a user profile and pair the installed remote control unit
