4.2.4. – FIXING THE CUTTING DISC
• Unplug the machine from the mains.
• Open lower protector door.
• Unscrew nut from motor shaft (left-hand thread).
• Remove the disc attachment plate.
• Insert the disc in the shaft (with the supplement washer),
bearing in mind the direction of rotation.
• Fit the attachment plate and tighten the nut (Fit the
attachment plate and tighten with the nut (left-hand
thread).
• Close the lower protector door.
• Connect the machine and check that the disc rotates
correctly.
To obtain a better cutting finish always use a good quality
disc. You will obtain greater production with less effort and
a lower cost. Always use widia discs as the machine has
been designed and built to be used with these discs.
Diamond discs should never be used.
4.2.4. – MOUNTING THE RULE
4.2.4.1. GRADUATED RULE
• Unscrew the wing nut and the M-5 locknut from the
guide.
• Place the graduated rule in the guide and tighten
the wing nut and locknut.
4.2.4.2. ALUMINIUM RULE
• Insert the rule guide into the profile from the front of
the table.
• Tighten in the required table position using the
handle.
• Place the rule in the most appropriate position
depending on thickness of the pieces, rotating the
rule by means of the wing nuts.

NORMS FOR USE
• The separator should be placed in such a way that the
distance between the disc's cutting edge and the separator
is 3/8 mm.
• The separator should be narrower than the kerf (The disc
cutting width, 0.25/0.5 mm on the side) and placed on the
disc plane.
• The disc saw teeth, without the sintered carbide cover
plate, should be alternately sharp and obtuse on the sides
from the vertex to 1/3 of the height ( there should be an
angle of 0.3 mm on one side).
• It is strictly forbidden to work with broken or blunt discs
or those with teeth missing.
• The material worked on should be pushed by the pushrod.
• The disc protector should cover the top part of the saw
teeth.
• Work should never be carried out without the disc protector.
• The cutting saw should be perfectly balanced.
• The machine should be in good technical condition. If a
failure occurs unplug the machine and check it to resolve
any problems.
• The cutting saw must only be used for those specific
functions for which it has been designed.
• No manoeuvres should be carried out near to the machine
whilst the cutting disc is rotating.
• Sawdust on the tabletop should only be cleaned away
when the cutting saw has been unplugged.
• Unplug the machine before removing or changing the disc
protector.
• Machine operators should always use earmuffs.

START-UP
Before using the machine all operators should be familiar
with the norms on safety and hygiene at work.
6.1. – CHANGING DISC
• Unplug cutting saw
• Open the cover of the disc's bottom protector.
• Apply the special wrench to the disc attachment plate.
• Remove the motor shaft nut (left-hand thread).
• Remove the attachment disc and then the disc.
• To fit the disc follow these same steps in reverse order.
• Adjust separating cutter, if necessary.
6.2. – ADJUSTMENT OF SEPARATING CUTTER.
6.2.1. - 315 DISC.
• Open lower disc protector door.
• Loosen M6 screws (1), with wrench 10.
• Move the cutter vertically.
• Tighten M6 screws (1).
