The selection of the type of gas depends on the material to be welded and the welding technique (spray or short
circuit) among others, these are some examples:
BASE METAL
Stainless steel
Carbon and low alloy steels
Aluminium and magnesium
Copper
When using the welder outdoors, you must take measures so that the wind does not dissipate the gas. Otherwise,
the work will not be done correctly.
GAS / NO GAS SELECTION
The welding can be configured to work with gas or without gas according to the type of rod to be used.

Solid core (with gas).

Core with flow (without gas).
GAS WELDING
1.
If you are going to use a solid rod, connect to the terminal as follows:

The negative cable must be connected to the negative terminal (black).

The cable of the torch must be connected to the positive terminal (red).
Connection to gas supply

Connect the gas cylinder to the small tube located on the back of the welder.
NO GAS WELDING
1.
If you use a self-protected tubular wire, connect the terminal as shown below:
The red wire must be connected to the positive terminal (red).
The cable of the torch must be connected to the negative terminal (black).
