3.1.5 Language selection
Start the control unit using the on/off button and then im-
mediately press down the «MEM» and «C» buttons until
the sub-menu «Languages» appears.
Select the desired language by pressing button «B». The
available languages are as follows: Deutsch, Français,
Slovensky, Cesky and English. Confirm the language by
pressing the «MEM» button. Restart the control unit.
3.1.6 PLC connection
Start control unit using the on/off button and then press
the «FOOT» and «C» buttons immediately until the sub-
menu «foot ped. input» appears.
Turn the rotation speed regulator to make the «PLC potfr.
Cont.» menu appear. Press the «MEM» button to confirm
this selection.
This symbol > appears in front of «PLC potfr. Cont.»
Press button «B» again to select further parameters, such
as choice of the motor channel, rotation speed or rotation
direction and confirm these by pressing «MEM».

3.1.7 SFR foot pedal
Connect the SFR foot pedal to the control unit.
As soon as the SFR foot pedal is linked to the control unit
then «FOOT» appears in the display. Press the «FOOT»
button on the control unit to activate the SFR foot pedal.
Press the motor button for the socket that you have se-
lected for use. This will start to flash. The preset rotation
speed will appear in the display. There are two ways to
start and stop operation: a) via the control unit (flashing
motor switch) or b) using the start/stop button on the
hand tool. Confirmation of this is shown by the motor
button lighting up and a rotation speed of «0» appear-
ing in the display. Pushing the SFR foot pedal increases
the rotation speed from 0 to the value that has been en-
tered (the «MEM» function is not available on the SFR foot
pedal). The rotation speed can be changed indefinitely
before or during operation using the rotation speed regu-
lator. Switch off by pressing the motor button or by using
the start/stop button on the hand tool.
3.1.8 Storing the hand tool
When the task has been completed, store the hand tool in
