Commissioning / emergency opening
To open the safe for the first time, remove cover B over the emergency opening lock by pressing firmly on the raised
area of the cover (see Fig. 1). Then insert the emergency key included in the scope of delivery into the key opening and
turn the emergency key "anti-clockwise" with your right hand and hold it firmly against the stop in this position to re-
lease the mechanical lock. At the same time, please turn the lever for opening the safe "clockwise" with your left hand so
that the safe can be opened in an emergency.
Now open the battery compartment (see Fig. 2) on the inside of the door and insert the batteries included in the scope
of delivery into the battery compartment (note the polarity). To do this, slide the cover downwards until it can be re-
moved. Now close the battery compartment.
3.
Entering the codes
You can save user and master codes. You can use the user code to grant other people access to the safe. The master
code (main code) guarantees you continued access, even if the user code has been changed.
3.1
Entering a user code
a.
Leave the safe door open and press the reset button C (see Fig. 3) inside the battery compartment. As soon as
the yellow LEDs light up and the beeps sound, your desired code can be entered.
b.
Enter your desired user code (3 - 8 digits) and confirm the code with the * or # button.
Your code is now saved. Please make a note of the code or use a code that you will not forget.
Before you close the safe, test the newly saved code. If the yellow LEDs now flash and beeps sound, the
code was not entered successfully. Please try again.
3.2 Entering a master code
a.
Leave the safe door open and press the "0" button twice and the reset button C once (see Fig. 3, inside the battery
compartment). As soon as the yellow LEDs light up and the beeps sound, your desired code can be entered.
b.
Enter your desired master code (3 - 8 digits) and confirm the code with the * or # button.
Your code is now saved. Please make a note of the code or use a code that you will not forget.
Before you close the safe, test the newly saved code. If the yellow LEDs now flash and beeps sound, the code
was not entered successfully. Please try again.
