Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Keep batteries out of the reach of small
children. If batteries are swallowed, seek
medical attention immediately.
10. If the batteries leak, remove them from the
remote control using a cloth and dispose
of them properly. Prevent battery acid from
coming into contact with skin and eyes. If you
get battery acid in your eyes, flush your eyes
thoroughly with lots of water and seek medical
advice immediately. If battery acid comes into
contact with the skin, wash the affected area
with lots of water and soap.
11. Always keep batteries in their original packaging
well, when not in use. Do not let the batteries
come into contact with other metal objects.
12. Always select the correct size and grade of the
batteries most suitable for the intended use.
13. Always replace the batteries of a complete set.
Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries
with different capacities.
14. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the
remote control prior to battery installation.
15. Never expose the batteries to extremely high
or low temperatures or low air pressure at high
altitudes during use, storage or transportation.
16. Replacing batteries (e. g. with certain lithium
battery types) with the incorrect type can
override a protective device.
17. Disposing / exposing batteries to fire or a hot
oven, mechanically crushing or cutting batteries
may cause explosion.
18. Batteries in an extremely high temperature
surrounding environment can result in an
explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or
gas.
19. Batteries subjected to extremely low air
pressure may result in an explosion or the
leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
20. The batteries must be removed from the
appliance before they are scrapped. The
batteries are to be disposed of safely.
21. The remote control must be disconnected from
the supply mains (e. g. switching off) when
removing the batteries.
22. Do not swallow batteries. There is a risk
of chemical burns. Swallowing can lead to
chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue and
death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of
ingestion. Seek medical attention immediately.
23. New and used batteries shall be kept away from
children.
24. If the battery compartment (e. g. battery holder,
battery compartment cover) does not close
securely, stop using the remote control and
keep it away from children and pets.
25. If you think that batteries might have been
swallowed or placed inside any part of the body,
see medical attention immediately.
26. Do not allow children to replace batteries
without supervision.
27. Batteries shall not be short-circuited, loaded,
over-discharged, thrown into fire, heated up,
disassembled, deformed, encapsulated and / or
modified.
28. Do not weld or solder directly on batteries.
29. Batteries with a damaged housing shall not
come into contact with water.

Replacing the batteries
NOTE: The batteries are not included in the scope of
delivery. Always select the correct battery type that
is suitable for the intended use of the remote control.
Always replace the batteries of a complete set.
Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries with
different capacities.
NOTE: The correct polarity is indicated on the
battery compartment. When inserting the batteries,
ensure the position of polarities is correct.

If the range of the remote control decreases,
you need to replace the batteries.

Remove the battery compartment cover.

Remove the exhausted batteries. Insert two new
batteries (2 x 1.5 V
compartment.

Refit the battery compartment cover.

Operation
NOTES:
This appliance must be fully assembled and fixed
to a wall before use! Do not use an appliance
which is only partially assembled or with
damaged parts.
On first use, odours and smoke caused by the
conditions of manufacturing may appear. This is
normal and no reason to worry. Ensure to provide
sufficient ventilation.
The appliance is equipped with an overheating
protection system. When the appliance overheats,
the appliance turns off automatically. Disconnect
the appliance from the power supply and let it
cool down completely before using it again.
When the overheating protection system is
activated, the operating light flashes blue and
green alternately.
1. Connect the appliance to the power supply.
2. Set the on/off switch to position I to switch on the
appliance. The operating light lights up red and
the appliance is in standby mode.
3. Press the button
repeatedly to select the desired operating mode:
− x 1: Start operation on low power heating
mode. The operating light lights up green.
− x 2: Switch to high power heating mode. The
operating light lights up blue.
