5. After use
Cleaning
NOTE: Clean the appliance after each use to keep it
in a safe working condition.
• Switch off and unplug the appliance and let it cool
down completely before cleaning or maintenance.
• Do not clean the appliance with steel wool, strong
chemicals, alkali, abrasive or toxic agents, as they
may damage the surface of the appliance and
pose a health hazard.
• Do not clean the appliance with a water jet or a
steam cleaner. Do not immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids to clean it. Never hold the
appliance under running water. Make sure that no
water enters the appliance while cleaning it.
• Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth and a
little mild detergent. Dry with a soft dry cloth.
• Inspect the heating elements and reflector every
month or whenever necessary. Do not attempt
to clean or maintain the heating elements and
reflector yourself. Cleaning and maintenance are
to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
• The appliance may only be used again or stored
after it is dried completely.
Storage
• Before storing, switch off the appliance and
disconnect it from the power supply and let it cool
down completely. Clean the appliance and its
accessories thoroughly.
• Store the appliance in a dry, protected
environment at room temperature and out of the
reach of children.
• Preferably store the appliance in its original
packaging.
