Port Flash function
This function is used to locate an exact port on a network switch or on a router to which the tested cable is connected.
1.
Plug the loose end of the network cable or the RJ45 patch cord (included) to the Flash/PoE port (11) of the transmitter; the other cable
end is connected to a PoE source equipment (such as a network switch, router, etc.).
2.
Select Flash (Port Flash function) and press the OK button (8).
3.

different from the other LEDs.
PoE test
This function is used to identify the pins that provide PoE (power over Ethernet) and to measure the PoE voltage.
1.
Plug one end of the PoE cable or the RJ45 patch cord (included) into the Flash/PoE port (11) on the transmitter and the other end into a
port of the PoE source equipment (such as a network switch, router, etc.).
