6.4 Lubricating the saw chain
- Switch off the cordless chainsaw and remove the battery.
- Place the cordless chainsaw on a level surface with the
sprocket cover facing up.
- Apply lubricant oil in the area (1) between guide bar and
saw chain.
- Fit the battery.
6.5 Using the cordless chainsaw
6.6 After work
- Switch of the cordless chainsaw and remove the battery.
- Clean the cordless chainsaw, battery, guide bar and chain.
- Fit the guide bar cover.
Switch ON and OFF
- Press the safety lock (1) with your thumb and hold it there.
- Pull the trigger (2) with your index finger and hold it there. The
motor accelerates and the chain rotates. Release the safety lock.
- Release the trigger and then the chain stops rotating.
- Start the cut with the chain running at full speed.
- Engage the stop and use if as a fulcrum.
- Continue cut until complete guide bar is through the branch.
- Cut one branch at a time.
