The following information on hazards and precautions includes the most likely situations that may arise during use of
this machine. Consult all product documentation, packaging and labels before use.
If you encounter a situation not described in this manual, use common sense to use the machine as safely as possible
and if you see danger, do not use the machine.
USERS
• This product has been designed to be handled by users of legal age who have read and understood these
instructions. Do not allow underage persons or persons who do not understand these instructions to use the
product.
• Before using this product, familiarize yourself with it. Make sure you know where all the controls are, the safety
devices and how they should be used.
• If you are an inexperienced user we recommend that you practice doing simple work and, if possible, in the
company of an experienced person.
GENERAL SAFETY
• Use this machine in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the conditions and work to be
performed. Using this machine for unintended purposes can cause a dangerous situation.
• Do not use the machine in extreme temperatures.
• Keep the machine away from moisture.
• This type of ATS is specially designed for one type of generator. Never use this ATS with an unspecified generator
type.
• Check the battery output voltage before using your ATS for the first time. If the output voltage is less than 12.8V
you must recharge the battery. Please refer to the generator instruction manual for how to do this.
• When connecting cables, make sure that there is no power to your ATS and connect it only according to the
instruction manual.
• Never place the ATS on top of the generating set when the ATS is running. Make sure to put it in a safe and dry
place, at least 2m from the generator set.
• Never touch the connection terminals on the rear panel of the ATS when it is running to avoid electric shock.
• Before using your ATS, you must make sure that the electrical panel of the generator power panel is turned on.
You must also ensure that the power load that passes never exceeds the total power of the generator and the ATS.
• Before each use, check the product for broken, loose, or damaged parts or parts. Do not operate the machine if
it is damaged or in an excessively worn condition.
• Never disassemble the unit yourself, do not repair or replace any part of the unit, or attempt any repair.
• If you observe a malfunction of the ATS, turn it off immediately and consult the Official Technical Service.
SERVICE
• Have the machine checked periodically by a qualified technician using only original spare parts. Before any doubt,
contact the Official Technical Service.
