LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
The heater can be regulated in three different heat levels:
1-LOW, 2 - MEDIUM and 3- HIGH.
Ignition mode: piezo ignition.
● Open the heater cylinder valve by turning it counterclockwise.
● Push down and turn the control knob to position 1 - LOW and hold for 10 seconds.
● While continuing to press down on the control knob, press the ignition button once or twice
until the pilot lights (on bottom of burner). Continue to hold the control knob for an additional
10 to 15 seconds. Then release the button and:
- if the pilot flame goes out, repeat the previous operation;
- if the flame remains lit, now without pressing you can go to heat level 2 or 3.
Note:
When first lighting a new heater, it may be necessary to hold the control knob in longer to
allow gas to flow to the pilot.
Once the heater is turned on in the 1 - LOW position, turning the control knob to the 2-
MEDIUM or 3- HIGH position will light the second and third heat pads respectively.
IMPORTANT:
To turn heater OFF, fully close regulator lever valve (turn clockwise) and return control knob
to OFF position.
THE HEATER SHOULD BE SHUT OFF AS FOLLOWS:
FIRST: CLOSE THE STOP VALVE OF THE CYLINDER REGULATOR AND WAIT UNTIL
THE BURNERS AND THE FLAME ARE OUT.
SECOND: TURN THE HEATER CONTROL KNOB TO THE OFF POSITION.
