• Do not immerse the product or the mains cord in water or other

liquids.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands.
• Keep the product away from water! Do not use the product near
or over water contained in baths, washbasins, sinks, etc.
• Do not place the product such that there is a risk of it falling into a
tub or sink.
• Do not reach for the product if it has fallen into water. Unplug
immediately before retrieving it. Failure to unplug the product may
result in an electric shock.
• Always switch the product off when you are not using it, when you
intend to clean it, or in the event of a malfunction.
• Never insert any objects into the housing.
• Do not pull the product out of the socket by the mains cord;
instead, always pull it out by the plug itself. Never move, pull, or
carry the product by the cord.
• Keep the product away from open flames and hot surfaces.
• Lay the mains cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
• Do not kink the mains cord, wrap it around the product, or lay it
over sharp edges.
• Only use the product indoors.
• Do not use an extension cord with the product.
• When the product is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since
the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the product is
switched off.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current
device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the
bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
