Safety instructions
-
Risk of injury!
Only accessories recommended by the manufacturer must be used, as they are important for the safety of the pump. To
ensure the safety of the pump, only spare parts supplied or approved by the manufacturer should be used. Ensure that the
pump is not used by children or untrained persons. Only use the pump for its intended purpose and take account of local
conditions. Never leave the pump unattended when it is in use. Wear suitable protective clothing and safety goggles to
protect yourself from any water or dirt that may splash back.
The site safety devices on this pump are designed to protect against injury and must not be altered or circumvented.
-
Danger of explosion!
Never pump solvents, liquids containing solvents or undiluted acids (e.g. petrol, paint thinners, fuel oil, etc.). Spray mist
is highly flammable, explosive and toxic. Never use the pump in areas where there is a risk of explosion. When using the
pump in hazardous areas (e.g. petrol stations), observe the pump's safety instructions.
-
Danger of electric shock!
The pump may only be connected to an electrical circuit protected by a residual current circuit breaker (RCCB). The
RCCB specification that the nominal residual operating current must not exceed 30mA (EN 60335-2-41 clause 7.12).
Each time you use the device, check that the connection cable and plug are not damaged. The mains voltage
(230V~50Hz) must correspond to that indicated on the manufacturer's plate. Do not install or start the pump if there are
people in the fluid being pumped (e.g. a swimming pool), or if they are in contact with it. Children and young people
under the age of 16 must not use this pump and must be kept away from it when it is in operation. Repairs should only be
carried out by a qualified electrician. This is particularly important as the casing must be protected against the ingress of
water (current + water = danger).
