▶ Secure one carabiner of the tool tether to the retaining strap and secure the second carabiner to a
load-bearing structure. Check that both carabiners hold securely.
Comply with the operating instructions of the Hilti retaining strap and those of the Hilti tool tether.

Operation
Observe the safety instructions and warnings in this documentation and on the product.
6.1
Switching on/off
Slight smoke development is possible when the tool is used for the first time.
1. Press and hold down the release button.
2. Press and hold down the on/off switch.
▶ The hot-air gun heats up and blows air.
3. Release the on/off switch.
▶ The hot-air gun stops heating and blowing air.
4. Release the release button.
▶ The on/off switch is latched.
6.2
Switching sustained operation on and off
Slight smoke development is possible when the tool is used for the first time.
1. Press and hold down the release button.
2. Press the on / off switch until it clicks.
▶ The hot-air gun heats up and blows air even when you release the on/off switch.
3. Press the on/off switch again.
▶ The hot-air gun stops heating and blowing air.
6.3
Setting temperature
•
"Room temperature" is set by default when the tool is switched on.
•
The power indicator flashes during operation until the selected temperature is reached.
1. Press the temperature-selection button to change the temperature setting.
2. The power indicator shows the set temperature.

Care of the product

Carefully remove stubborn dirt.
