WALL MOUNTING WARNINGS

Read the instructions before mounting your
charging station on the wall.

Do not install the charging station on a ceiling
or inclined wall.

Use the specified wall mounting screws and
other accessories.

This unit is rated for indoor or outdoor
installation. If this unit is mounted outdoors,
the hardware for connecting the conduits to
the unit must be rated for outdoor installation
and be installed properly to maintain the
proper IP rating on the unit.
BASIC OPERATION - For Autostart
Models
VESTEL Electric Vehicle Charger (EVC) is
designed to charge plug-in electric vehicles (PHEV)
and battery electric vehicles (BEV) with Type 2
socket compatible cable on charging station side.
Please read important safety warnings and
instructions carefully before operating the EVC.

At the start-up, please be sure that Blue LED is on.
Connect the charging plug to the EV and then to the
EVC. VESTEL EVC starts the charging session au-
tomatically.
The charging plug is always locked to socket out-
let before starting to charge. The charging plug is
unlocked from socket outlet of VESTEL EVC after
disconnecting the charging cable from EV.

If the button LED is blinking red, your car needs
ventilation during charging because of the drivetrain
battery type. This EV charger unit is intended only
for charging electric vehicles not requiring ventilation
during charging.
If the LED is steady Red, please check troubleshoo-
ting section and do not connect any charging plug to
the VESTEL EVC.

RFID Authorization, Basic Operation and Card
Management of VESTEL EVC
a. RFID Authorization and Basic Operation
At the start-up, please be sure that Blue LED is
on. Connect the charging plug to the EV. VESTEL
EVC waits for the RFID card authorization. Please
tap your slave RFID card over the reader symbol on
screen.
If the card ID is in authorized card list of
VESTEL EVC, the charging session starts immedia-
tely. After tapping slave RFID card, if VESTEL EVC
beeps indicating that the tapped slave card is not in
local authorization list and EVC does not allow start
charging.
b. Master and Slave RFID Card Management
Users can change local authorization list using a
RFID master card. Master cards can't start a char-
ging session. With master card, users can add or
remove "Slave Cards" to local authorization list.
Adding Master Card to Local Authorization List;
On first power up or when the local authorization list
is reset, first card to be read by the reader is assig-
ned as the master card.
Adding Slave Cards to Local Authorization List;
1.
Tap Master card to the reader and wait for beep
sound.
2.
Tap slave card which you want to add to the
local authorization list in 10 seconds. If slave
card is added successfully, VESTEL EVC be-
eps again. If no beep sound is heard, your Sla-
ve card is not compatible to operate with VES-
TEL EVC.
Removing Slave Cards from Local Authorization
List;
1.
Tap product specific Master card to the reader
and wait for beep sound
2.
Tap slave card which you want to remove from
local authorization list in 10 seconds. If slave
