Commissioning
Installation and early commissioning must only be carried out by an approved electri-
cal contractor. After installation, thoroughly flush the pipework and cylinder and fill the
cylinder with water. Open the hot water tap until water flows out and check the safety
valve by venting.
Before commissioning, the cylinder must be filled and vented. Cylinder and system
must be checked for leaks. Further check for leaks after initial heating by heat gene-
rator.
Do not exceed the maximum operating pressure of 10 bar. Exceeding the permissible
Please
operating pressure may result in leaks and could destroy the cylinder.
note
Observe the enclosed operating instructions for the impressed current anode.
SE-2-750 add-on with impressed current anode:
Connect potentiometers to a 230 V power outlet. Function check: The green LED
illuminates to indicate correct function.

No. Criterion
1
Observe siting information.
2
Fit insulation correctly.
Fit cold and hot water connections with flat
3
gasket. Seal off any unused connections.
If necessary, incorporate DHW cylinder in
4
the equipotential bonding system (earth it).
Before filling the cylinder, flush the pipe-
5
work according to DIN 1988.
6
Fill cylinder fully.
7
Check all lines and connections for leaks.
Vent all hot water fittings until the water
8
escapes without bubbles.
9
Check the safety valve function.
10
Check the non-return valve function.
If applicable, check the function of the
11
impressed current anode.
Start the heat generator as described in its
12
operating instructions.
Monitor initial heating until the cylinder
13
temperature controller switches it off.
If applicable, check the function of the
14
DHW circulation line.
Perform a final leak check.
15
Check that the max. operating temperature
and pressure are not exceeded.
Brief the operator in system operation and
16
function.
