Cleaning and maintenance
A
NOTICE! Risk of damage
• Do not grease, oil or lubricate the blind. Lubricants will damage the
fabric.
• Be careful not to crease the fabric when using the brush attachment
of a vacuum cleaner.
• Rubbing can damage the fabrics.
• Spot-cleaning may result in cleaner areas than the surrounding.
• Do not soak the blinds.
• The manufacturer recommends testing any cleaning agents on a
hidden area of the blind first.
I
NOTE Cleaning by professional cleaning personnel
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for improper cleaning methods
or agents used by professional cleaning personnel. In this case, the
responsibility lies with the cleaning company.
Removing dust
➤ Dust the blind regularly with a dust rag, dust glove or a vacuum cleaner with a
brush attachment. Blow excess dust off of your fabric using a can of compressed
air or a hair dryer on a cool setting.
➤ Fully deploy the blind to clean the fabric.
➤ Fully stow the blind to clean around side tracks or guide wires.
Spot cleaning
➤ Spot-clean with a soft white cloth, moistened with warm water. Add a mild deter-
gent if needed (non-abrasive and with no additives).
➤ Blot gently to avoid creasing or damaging the fabric. Always leave the blind
deployed to dry thoroughly.
Cleaning windows
➤ Always ensure the blinds are fully stowed before cleaning windows. This will
prevent spoiling the blind fabric by splatter or sprays of water or detergent.
