byko-spectra standard
2 Introduction
The byko-spectra standard is a cost-effective light booth with 5 Illuminants. It provides col-
orists, stylists, designers, and color technicians with the five most common types of light-
ing: Daylight, incandescent, office (CWF and TL84) and ultraviolet illumination.
The user can create a viewing environment that simulates the typical lighting conditions in
a store, office, home, or natural daylight. The byko-spectra standard presents color
samples and materials within a controlled neutral gray (Munsel N7) surrounding, which
eliminates color contrast and distortion caused by non-neutral surface reflections, or non-
standard ambient light.
Unpacking and Inspecting
This product has been carefully inspected, packed, and received by the carrier in good con-
dition. Subsequent damage during shipment is the responsibility of the carrier. If any con-
cealed damage is noted after removing the byko-spectra standard from its shipping carton,
contact the delivering carrier to call for an inspection and file a claim for concealed dam-
age.
