Mounting the front blowpipe (6)

1. Put the front blowpipe (6) on the rear blowpipe (5) at
the arrow mark.
2. To lock the front blowpipe (6) using the bayonet catch,
turn the front blowpipe (6) clockwise until it reaches
the end stop.

Operation
The cordless leaf blower has a blower that can be used to
quickly blow leaves together or blow them away from
hard-to-reach places.
Please refer to the following descriptions for the function
of the controls.
ATTENTION
Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!
ATTENTION
Make sure that the ambient temperature does not ex-
ceed 50°C and does not fall below -20°C during work.
ATTENTION
The product is part of the 20V IXES series and may on-
ly be operated with batteries of this series. Batteries
may only be charged with battery chargers of this se-
ries. Observe the manufacturer's instructions.

Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (8) into the battery mount (3). The
battery (8) clicks into place audibly.
Removing the battery
1. Press the unlock button (7) of the battery (8) and re-
move it from the battery mount (3).

Switching the product on/off and
operating it (Fig. 1)
WARNING
Danger of injury!
If you direct the airflow at people, animals or objects,
this can cause injury and damage.
–
Direct the air flow away from you.
–
Never direct the airflow at other people, animals or
objects.
–
Do not blow away hard objects such as stones or
branches.
Notes:
The product has two air speeds.
1 = low.
For light, dry material, e.g. chips, grains and dirt.
2 = high.
For heavy or wet material, e.g. dry leaves, grass cuttings,
wet leaves.
The best result is achieved if you do not operate the prod-
uct directly on the base, but slightly away from the base
and at a flat angle if possible.
1. Raise the product by the handle (2).
2. To switch on the product, slide the on/off switch (1) to
position "1".
3. Swivel the product to the left and right.
4. Adjust the air speed during work to the material to be
blown away. To increase the air speed, slide the on/
off switch (1) to position "2".
5. To switch off the product, slide the on/off switch (1) to
position "0".
9.3
Overload switch-off
In the event of overloading, the motor will switch itself off.
After a cool-down period (time varies) the motor can be
switched back on again.
10 Working instructions
The product may only be used for the following purposes:
• As a blower for piling up dry foliage or blowing it away
from hard-to-reach places.
Any other use may result in damage to the product and
pose a danger to the user.
• Before switching on the product, make sure that it is
not directed towards people or animals.
• Hold the product with both hands during the work.
Grasp both handles.
• Some noise pollution from this product is unavoidable.
Postpone noisy work to approved and designated
times. If necessary, adhere to rest periods.
• Lightly dampen surfaces in dusty conditions.
• You will achieve optimum results when using the
blower at a distance of 5 - 10 cm from the ground.
• Point the air jet forward and move slowly to blow
leaves or garden waste together or remove them from
hard-to-reach places.
• Use rakes and brooms to loosen up waste before
blowing.
• Start work with the highest blowing power to quickly
collect the leaves lying around.
Select a lower blowing power to compact the previ-
ously collected pile of leaves.
