Using the inser t s
Use the inserts that correspond to the
size of your sunshade pole.
1. Insert the required inserts in the stand
tube (see figure B).
2. The clamping plate located inside the
tube behind the upper T-screw 7 must
be pushed into the notch 9 of the plas-
tic inserts.
At taching the hook and loop

Please note: Always secure the balco-
ny base with the enclosed hook and loop
strip 10. This is the only way to sufficient-
ly secure it.
1. Completely remove the upper
T-screw 7 (see figure C).
2. Push the upper T-screw 7 through the
hole in the hook and loop strip 10 (see
figure D).
3. Screw the upper T-screw 7 clock-
wise somewhat back in place (see
figure E).
Mounting the sun shade

1. Place the balcony base in the desired
area directly next to the balcony railing.
2. Loosen the bottom T-screw 8 and, if ap-
plicable, the upper T-screw 7 by turning
them anticlockwise (see figure F).
3. Insert the shade mast and tighten the
upper T-screw 7 as well as the bot-
tom T-screw 8 again by turning them
clockwise.
Please note: Insert the shade pole at
least 200 mm, ideally to a depth that
permits it to be held in place by both
T-screws.
4. Tighten the hook and loop strip 10
around the stand tube and balcony
railing so that it is taut (see figure I).

1. Lift the balcony base and place it up-
right on one of its lateral surfaces.
Have a second person hold it in
place!
2. Screw 4 wheels 12 into the threads on
the bottom of the balcony base (see
figure G and H).
3. Place the balcony base in the desired
area directly next to the balcony rail-
ing.
4. Push down the locking devices 11 to
prevent the balcony base from rolling
away.
5. Loosen the bottom T-screw 8 and, if
applicable, the upper T-screw 7 by
turning them anticlockwise (see fig-
ure F).
6. Insert the shade mast and tighten the
upper T-screw 7 as well as the bot-
tom T-screw 8 again by turning them
clockwise.
7. Please note: Insert the shade pole at
least 200 mm, ideally to a depth that
permits it to be held in place by both
T-screws.
8. Tighten the hook and loop strip 10
around the stand tube and balcony
railing so that it is taut (see figure I).
Changing the location
Please note: Before you change the lo-
cation of the balcony base, please take
the sun shade out.

1. Loosen the T-screws 7 and 8 by turn-
ing them anticlockwise.
2. Take the shade pole out.
3. Loosen the hook and loop strip 10 and
take it off of the balcony railing.
4. Move the balcony base to the new lo-
cation.
5. Mount the sun shade as described in
the section "Mounting the sun shade".
