Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I plug the Boulder 100i directly into a Goal Zero Yeti?
A: No. You need an MC4
to HPP adapter to connect the Boulder
®*
100i to a Yeti. These panels are intended for RV installations
with the Goal Zero Escape Ecosystem.
Q: How many solar panels can I connect together?
A: It varies depending on the device you're pairing your panels
with. For example, the Goal Zero Yeti PRO 4000 will accept
a maximum of 5 Boulder 100i panels in series, while the Yeti
1500X and all other 'X' line products can only accommodate 2
panels in series.
Q: Can I chain my Boulder 100i with third-party solar panels?
A: No. The Boulder 100i is not guaranteed to work with any other
manufacturers' products. Many solar panels are manufactured
differently. Pairing your Boulder 100i with third-party panels may
result in product damage, fires, or other serious issues.
