Rinse Aid
Rinse Aid is added during the last rinse cycle and lowers the surface tension of water before the drying cycle commences.
This ensures that water droplets are not formed on your dishes and ensures spot and streak free drying.
IMPORTANT: Always use dishwasher compatible rinse aid.
Only use rinse aid designed for dishwasher use. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other substances, for example, vinegar,
dishwasher cleaning agent etc. as this will cause damage to the appliance and will invalidate your guarantee.
Optical Rinse Aid Indicator
In addition to the Rinse Aid indicator on the control panel, you can also judge the level of rinse aid in the container using the optical
indicator on the detergent panel inside the door.
When the Rinse Aid container is full, the optical indicator will show as a complete dark dot. As the rinse aid diminishes, the size of
the dark dot will decrease. It is recommended that you refill with rinse aid when the container is no lower than 1/4 full.
Filling the Rinse Aid Dispenser
1
The rinse aid dispenser is located inside the door on the detergent panel.
To open the dispenser, turn the cap anti-clockwise 90° and remove it (see picture 1).
Carefully pour the rinse aid into the container using the Optical Rinse Aid indicator to guide you (see picture 2).
When the indicator is completely dark, the container is full; do not overfill.
Replace the cap ensuring the arrows are aligned and turn it clockwise 90° to lock into place (see picture 3).
IMPORTANT: Soak up any spilt rinse aid with a damp absorbent cloth to avoid excess
foaming during the next wash cycle.
