Deck II.

The selectors allow the bias and equaiization characteristics during
recording, and equaiization characteristics during playback, to be
selected on Deck II in accord with the type of tape used.
Normal tape:
Release the left-hand switch to the "out" position ( M . NORM).
CrOj tape:
Press the left-hand switch and set it to the " i n " position
(
HIGH) and rease the right-hand switch to the "out" position
( M
CrO;).
Metal tape:
Press both the left and right-hand switches to the " i n " position
( m HIGH, « . M E T A L ) .

Make sure that the switch is set to the same setting when playing
back tapes recorded with the Dolby B or C type noise reduction
system.
Dolby NR OFF:
Release the left-hand switch to the "out" position (

Dolby B-type NR ON:
Press the left-hand switch and set it to the " i n " position I
