EXTENSION CORDS
WARNING:
Use of improper extension cord could result in risk of fire and electrical shock. If an
extension cord is used, make sure:
a. The pins on plug of extension cord are the same number, size, and shape as
those of plug on PGX™ Hub.
b. The extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition.
c. The extension cord is UL or CSA listed.
d. An extension cord is a temporary solution. Connect the PGX™ Hub to a standard
receptacle as soon as possible.
e. The wire size is large enough for AC ampere rating of PGX™ Hub (above 15A) as
specified below:

Replace damaged cords immediately. Use of damaged cords can shock, burn,
or electrocute.

Never connect more than one PGX™ Hub or other device(s) to an extension
cord. Connecting multiple devices increases the risk of fire.

Do not link (chain) multiple extension cords. Connecting multiple extension
cords increases the risk of fire.
◾
Do not use extension cord when connecting PGX™ Hub to a portable power
inverter or generator.
◾
To reduce the risk of electric shock when using outdoors, use only
extension cords intended for outdoor use, such as an extension cord of cord
type SW-A, SOW-A, STW-A, STOW-A, SJW-A, SJOW-A, SJTW-A and SJTOW-A
or Types SW, SOW, STW, STOW, SJW, SJOW, SJTW, and SJTOW.
